Welcome to Pontiac Elementary School's Parent Resource Room. This room is just for our parents. Studies have proven that when parents take an active role in their child's education the children perform better in their academics, have fewer behavior problems, and are more likely to finish school and continue their education beyond high school.
The Parent Perch at PES is stocked with information, flash cards and items to help you help your child at home. Some of the items you can find in your Parent Resource room include....
Our Parent Resource Room provides an inviting atmosphere for parents, grandparents, step parents, and other caregivers of Pontiac Elementary children to utilize the space. The Parent Perch has several technology devices available for use to complete district forms, apply for school registration, or check Parent Portal. The Parent Perch also has a collection of books on school related issues and parenting topics. The resources are free to check out, and you may sit and enjoy the materials in the Parent Resource Room or take them home with you.
This Parent Resource Room is also available for parent teacher conferences.
The Parent Resource Room is open five days a week and is located near the main office.
